Kimi wa atsui desu ka?

Probably wrong w/ the title, but you get my drift w/ using a 'keyword' :P. Anyways, it's a boiling heat wave here in the East end of Canada as well as the States. Temperature has been 30+ degrees celsius (that's 90+ farenheit for you yankees) and w/ the humidity it feels like 40+. Thus, it's always a good time for my theme, hence the summer.

Since I'm low on a pics today, i'll present the second cover for vol.2 of Witchblade (from neowing/cdjapan) since y'all know that i'm a casual fan ;), and cuz Shiori is damn hawt.
but Masane will always be hotter ;)

Some light game news of mention, Famitsu scores has arrived and Melty Blood Act Cadenza scored a pretty good 31/40. I was expecting higher though. Anyways, i find it the best of all the versions, better than Final Tuned.

Star Fox Command (NDS, Nintendo): 8 / 8 / 8 / 8 - (32/40)
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza (PS2, Sega): 8 / 8 / 8 / 7 - (31/40)
Simple 2000 Series Vol. 104: The Robot Tsuku Rouze! - Gekitou! Robot Fight (PS2, D3): 6 / 6 / 6 / 7 - (25/40)
Simple 2000 Series Vol. 105: The Maid Fuku to Kikanjuu (PS3, D3): 4 / 4 / 3 / 5 - (16/40)
Quiz Kirameki Star Road (NDS, Taito): 6 / 5 / 7 / 6 - (24/40)
Nounai Kakusei Honeycomb Beat (NDS, Hudson): 7 / 7 / 8 / 7 - (29/40)

another closer look at the Wii's virtual console pad...man it's so sweet, i just can't get enough looking at it, 10x better than the dual shock 2 controllers and caters back to SNES days as that pad was my fave (and still is, sorry Saturn).

An interesting interview/tour w/ SNKP...haha no PS3 game from them until 2009 or 2010. Hope so and serves 'em right.

Lastly, the cover for Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Neo!! cuz y'all know i'm gay for DB and Toriyama :P ^^.
Aug.3 '06 2:10 PM edit:
a quick note from work since i'm on lunch right now. just browsing, and ta-dah, a scan of the sequel to Jump Super Stars, Jump Ultimate Stars!!!!!
For those interested in Silent Hill, an interview about Silent Hill Origins.

man, i feel for you brother. i have many friends in eastern Canada and they are complaining daily! Vancouver is hella weird this summer, we had like a couple days of good strong heat, but then it disappeared! the sun is always out but i am walking around in jeans and a long sleeved shirt in mid-afternoon! hell, we're lucky if we get around 20C nowadays *grumblegrumble*

Wow, Maids&Machineguns took a bit of a panning. How disappointing (though I'm still getting it anyway :))

@ zanza: that's kinda strange. i thought you guys would get more heat...or rain. But yeah, the grueling heat does suck. Thankfully, i'm in an office. Though, when going home on the bus/subway and crowded w/ ppl...0_o.

@ digikerot: yeah, famitsu is pretty harsh on the simple 2000 games. i don't take their word for it since those games are bugdet titles and cater to a niche audience who like something weird or fanservicey (it's all about the "mascot" riho ^^). I can't wait for vol.107 w/ the en no kakutou banchou/the fire's fighting banchou!!

@ fisherman horizon: am i getting it? for sure man!! i love DBZ games (the JPN developed ones at least, despite some being sheeat). I'll probably pick up the PS2 US version one if there's dual audio like the first one. If not, JPN one it is. Even though i'm getting a Wii, i don't think i can adapt to playing it for this game. i'll see.
